the things they say....

Lately A has said some things that were memorable. So I wanted to put them down for prosperity and really to be frank--to have proof when she is a teenager and doubts all I say.

August 2009
(in the car)
Jim: A, stop talking we need to listen to the traffic report
A: Dad stop REPRESSING me!!!

(same trip--later in the day--waiting for the ferry)
Kris: A stop playing with the buttons. (the automatic window button for the van)
A: M I have a button and I know how to use it

Summer 2009
(at Teddy's Burgers in Woodinville)
Kris: A, eat your nuggets.
A: They're too hot.
Kris: No they aren't and M ate his.
A: Well Mom you know I have more sense then he does. (she meant more sensitivity but it still applies)

Fall 2010
(in the van)
Jim: A please be quiet.
A: Dad I am just talking to myself.....loudly.

And M, as always wanting to be part of the action, even has one.
Summer 2010
(at home)
Jim watches M watching Curious George on TV jumping on couch. Jim, leaves room and goes to the office. M comes in and starts jumping.
M: I'm couching!

I am sure I will be adding more soon--there is always something.
